ESTADOS UNIDOS, 23 de septiembre, (AlMomentoMX).— La edición 71 de los Emmy Awards, la fiesta que reconoce lo mejor de la televisión desde la comedia y el drama, lo más conocido y esperado, hasta programas de variedad, todos producidos por canales de televisión o plataformas de streaming.
Este 2019, HBO fue la televisora que lideró la lista de nominados con 137 nominaciones en total, 32 nominaciones por su serie estrella: Game of Thrones.
GoT en su temporada final fue reconocida con el galardón a Mejor Serie Dramática, pese a que recibió críticas negativas por parte de la audiencia. Compitió contra grandes producciones como Killing Eve, Better Call Saul y This Is Us.
Al final, HBO se llevó 34 premios de sus 137 nominaciones, mientras Netflix se llevó 27 de sus 117 menciones, que incluyen series como Better Call Saul, Bodyguard, Ozark, Russian Doll, When They See Us, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, The Kominsky Method y más.
